Litentry this week: SBP milestone 2 completed, preparing contribution phase of the crowdloan

Parachain

  • standardize the generation of wasm with srtool
  • create release drafts with github actions
  • add github actions to build parachain-docker with customized features
  • finalize the benchmark testing pallets and get the weights for each pallet
  • implement transaction fee and collator block reward
  • fix plan for token migration
  • fix pallets at launch
  • parachain launch phases public doc composed
  • litentry-js is ready

Mobile App

  • Wrapped up signing transactions with internal accounts (with password confirmation)
  • Prepared everything for a beta release of the app in PlayStore and App Store, but due to some performance issues in Android we decided to not release it yet. We spent quite a lot of time trying to solve that issue

Crowdloan Web App

  • Successfully launched the Crowdloan campaign website
  • Now we are getting ready and doing all the preparations for the Contribution phase of the Crowdloan
  • In parallel, we are working on sorting out the rewards schema and we are planning to have a Rewards calculator page that users can interact with
  • Most of the needed backend integrations are done

My Crypto Profile

  • Add GitHub Action to publish the extension as a downloadable artifact for testing purposes
  • Fix several NFT Portrait extension bugs related to Twitter profile structure and cases: Users without banner image, users without MCP profile
  • Update repository to Nx 13, improving building times and bundle sizes across all applications
  • We have 110 submissions for our contest with The Sandbox!

Community and ecosystem

Litentry is at Shanghai blockchain week! Through meetups, panels, mixer events, we’re actively advocating aggregated identities and applications in the Shanghai blockchain industry. In image 3, Hanwen was showcasing Litentry’s latest product development updates at the Web3 bootcamp demo day.

In addition, Kayla and Jacky organized a small game called NFT Camera during Metagame Week to mint NFT photos on Polygon so people can hang the photos on the Twitter NFT wall via My Crypto Profile.

Meanwhile, Hanwen also gave a speech about Litentry My Crypto Profile on the Shanghai Metaverse Week opening forum. Reached out by numerous NFT projects during the events, the my crypto profile team expect to bring in more exciting collaboration with real use cases soon.

We just completed our Substrate Builders Program milestone 2 and gained our badge. This important milestone comes with a few important development progress in the runtime, webapp and mobile app, including:

  • TEE Integration: Off-chain workers allow a Substrate node to offload tasks that take too long or too much CPU/memory resources to compute, or have non-deterministic results. In particular there is a set of helpers allowing fetching of HTTP requests and parsing for JSON. An OCTW is an OCW that implements in a trusted execution environment (TEE)
  • NFT Pallet: The identity NFT is closely related to the user’s on-chain historical behaviors, such as transactions, on-chain governance participation, IDO participation, etc., and can reflect the user’s attributes and creditworthiness
  • Mobile app for easy access on the go to parachain preparation and token migration
