Litentry partners with zCloak Network to protect the privacy of identity data in Web 3.0
We are happy to announce our collaboration with zCloak. We will work together to provide privacy protection for user identity data in Web 3.0.
zCloak Network is a privacy-focused computing platform based on Polkadot. It uses a novel zk-STARK virtual machine for the generation and verification of STARK proofs.
Under the partnership agreement, zCloak Network will use Zero-Knowledge Proof to provide user data privacy protection for aggregated identity data in Litentry. It is well known that most identity data are private information. If one stores one’s identity data in a blockchain, the data will become public for good — a huge threat to the safety of the owner. With the help of Self-Sovereign Data, zCloak can transform identity data to private and secure data assets. Using the unique Self-Proving computation of zCloak, one can perform computation and analysis of their data without sending them to 3rd party servers. As such, people can use their data for all kinds of services without disclosing them. Novel applications such as “privacy-preserving credit score” or “private kyc passport” will become possible and a whole new series of DeFi applications will be enabled by us.
About zCloak Network
zCloak Network is a privacy-focused computing platform based on Polkadot. It uses a novel zk-STARK virtual machine for the generation and verification1 of STARK proofs.Based on its unique Self-Sovereign Data and Self-Proving Computation technology, users can perform computation and analysis of their data without sending them away to 3rd party servers. It can also provide privacy computing service for parachains in Polkadot via cross-chain message passing. With a business model of “Zero-Knowledge Proof as a Service”, the zCloak Network will provide a complete privacy computation solution in a world of multi-chains.
About Litentry
Litentry is a cross-chain identity aggregation protocol that features a Substrate-built network, mobile app and identity-related tools. The protocol enables identity linking across different networks and facilitates decentralization and transparency in identity credit computation. Litentry provides a secure vehicle through which users manage their identities and dApps obtain real-time credit/reputation of an identity owner across different blockchains.
