Litentry Partners with Crust to Enable Access to Decentralized Storage of Identity Data
We are excited to announce our partnership with Crust Network, an incentive layer protocol for decentralized storage, to enable cross-chain access to decentralized storage of identity data.
This partnership will create new opportunities not only for Litentry and Crust Network but also the DID community as a whole as we look to bridge the gap between decentralized storage and DID aggregation network.
Through this collaboration, we will empower DID owners to access decentralized storage of their identity data in a secure, privacy-preserved fashion. Litentry plans to provide an interface to connect the DID network to Crust’s decentralized storage protocol and allows users to securely store DID data on the Crust Network through Litentry. In addition, Litentry will fully support data management and indexing of storage-related actions on the Crust Network, including account-DID relationships and a wide array of DID data.
Looking into the future, this collaboration will bring forth even more opportunities for both Litentry and Crust. We plan to further explore innovative cross-chain solutions on decentralized identity data indexing and storage alongside the Crust team.
About Crust
Crust implements the incentive layer protocol for decentralized storage. It is adaptable to multiple storage layer protocols such as IPFS, and provides support for the application layer. Crust’s architecture also has the capability of supporting a decentralized computing layer and building a decentralized cloud ecosystem.
At present, public testnet Maxwell CC2 is live and welcomes everyone to join for testing. Crust Network successively joined Substrate Builders Program and Web3.0 Bootcamp, and also obtained a Web3 Foundation Grant.
Crust Network Incentivized Testnet plan “Profit Ark” will be launched soon. Welcome everyone to join and share the rewards.

About Litentry
Litentry is a Decentralized Identity Aggregator that enables linking user identities among multiple decentralized networks. Litentry provides a trustable way for dApps to obtain real-time DID data of an identity owner across multiple blockchains and dApps. Featuring a DID indexing protocol and a Substrate built distributed DID validation blockchain, Litentry provides a decentralized, verifiable identity aggregation service that removes the redundancy of code and the hassle involved in resolving agnostic DID mechanisms. Everyone can build and submit DID methods to Litentry, making identity data easily accessible in the Web3.
