We have invited the community to test our Discord setup back in January. This test included real rewards for the completion of tasks. The idea was to help us learn about the process of setting up and running an Airdrop campaign. What this test setup didn’t include, was an ability to immediately withdraw the rewards earned. We said back then that we would work to enable this by the end of Q1 of the current year, and it seems that the work of the Parachain team has come through in time, as we are now ready to transfer the earned rewards to their wallets by using Litmus on 30th, March! Litmus recently won a slot in the Kusama Parachain auction.
You are now able to access your rewards on Polkadot.js. Please follow the simple steps below or watch the video for detailed instructions.
- Login to your Pokadot.js account at: https://polkadot.js.org/apps/#/accounts
- Navigate to available networks on the left corner.
- “Switch” to Litmus parachain found under the “Kusama & Parachains” section.
- Now you can see your reward LIT balances
Important note:
- LIT reward will be transferable, not locked.
- As TokenBridge is not yet available, you will not be able to transfer LIT from Litmus to ETH or BSC. More details about this functionality can be found in the roll out plan.
What is coming next for Drop3?
The new product is expected to enable anti-fraud and user identification measures we want to implement for the sake of projects setting up Drops with us and enable them to maximize profits from distributing tokens to the network, turning what otherwise would be an expense into a revenue source.
Drop3 carries a significantly smoother experience where users can reduce the amount of onboarding needed to partake in Drops and focus on completing reward-earning tasks, as well as generating VCs for users to access products and services. This includes proof-of-humanity DIDs, making Drops sybil resistance, and increasing the rewards going to contributing members of the ecosystem.
